Placement and screening, not drainage
HVAC work sits largely outside both records, with one practical exception: outdoor equipment is a visible exterior element, and on a designated property its placement and screening can attract review. Condensate discharge is the only drainage question, and it matters more for the building than for the town — a line discharging beside the foundation creates a moisture problem of its own.
